Ummmmm NOT! Last night I made a chocolate cake. Before I put icing on it, Michael asked me (while looking right at it) if it was white or chocolate. Dude, wtf????? Did you SERIOUSLY just ask me that????? This kid is the future of our country. If we think we're screwed now, just wait.
He had a baseball game today, and Bethanie went (me and baby boy stayed home since he was taking a night night nap). Big B comes home with tadpoles. WHAT???? Yeah, that's my girly girl. She's all upset that one died. She buried it in the backyard. May little tadpole RIP.
I told Brody to say I love you. He said no. Big sigh. I went to Wal Mart the other night and grabbed a snack at Taco Bell. Brody told me "mommy share." I tore off a chunk of my chicken quesadilla and gave it to him. He promptly turned to the dog and gave it to him. Big sigh again. He tends to come get in bed with me at night and snuggles up to me. It's soooooo sweet, so I'll forgive him for not telling me he loves me and feeding my bedtime snack to the dog.

Kiddo update
Michael-He's playing rec baseball in Cabot and competitive in West Memphis. I forsee my gas usage multiplying many times over, but what can you do??? It's what he loves. He's doing so so in school. I was NOT happy about the D he got in math on his report card, but the rest of his grades were A's and B's.
Bethanie-She got straight 3's on her report card, which mean at or above grade level. I've come to expect no less. The elementary school breaks down each subject into minute little details, so I could see where she's struggling (if she was).
Brody-Well, after several months straight of having a never ending ear infection, he got tubes on the 17th of March. He's doing well. Right now he has scarlet fever (how did THAT happen???) but you'd never know it. He's still teeny tiny (he wears a 12 months for the most part and he's 2) but very sturdy and very much a dare devil and a boy.
Michael and Bethanie had the flu last month. Brody luckily didn't get it, as it was a week before he got his tubes. I have shingles, and so far he hasn't gotten it or chicken pox or whatever he'd get.
Life is just chugging right along here.

Kiddo update
So, I guess I should update what the kidlets are up to.
Michael is now living with us. We just moved from Cabot (small town) to Ward (even smaller town) to a 4 bedroom house. Michael is doing GREAT! After getting not so great grades at Marion, he is getting good grades here (so far all A's and B's this quarter). He is going to his first formal Friday night.
Bethanie is also doing great. She had a perfect report card last quarter. VERY proud. She wants to do gymnastics and I'm looking into that. She's so tiny, she'll do great at it.
Brody is....well, Brody. He repeats everything he hears (and his favorite phrase right now is Gichael gay for some reason). He LOVES Michael and idolizes him. He loves Bethanie too, but Michael is next to God to him. He's gotten into Thomas the Train thing, and I can hear the movie on in his room right now. He loves choo choos, cars, and poo planes aka helicopters or airplanes. He just does the cutest darn things. Tonight he helped me with the laundry. He took stuff out of the basket and threw it (literally) into the washer. He's a cuddly little sweetheart.

The kidlets
So an update on the kids.
Michael-He's doing....well, let's say better in school. He could do better (and WILL do better or I will put my foot in his rear). He's done with baseball I guess. Had some measure of drama there, but not getting into it on here. But it's all good. He played good, and had fun which is what matters. He's still a darn good catcher IMHO and in other people's opinions, but what do I know apparently.
Bethanie-Lots of drama with her school that needs to be cleared up. No bus to and from school because our street shrunk over the summer and will not fit down it anymore. Walking conditions are bad. Lots of traffic and no sidewalks or crossing guards. Also, on the 4th day of school, they eliminated her class, moving her to another class, then said oh no, we have too many 4th graders now and moved 10 to another school. WTF????? Makes no sense to me, but what can you do?
Brody-Oh my where to start with that kid??? He's Brody, nuff said lol. He's getting over an ear infection, the second in 2 months (or most likely the first one didn't get better). He is just so goofy, and please don't think he's a baby. It insults him. He decided that he was too big for a crib, so he's no longer sleeping in it. He's in a mattress on the floor. He doesn't always sit in his high chair, he likes to sit at the table. He's a little munchkin. Very lovable and loves to snuggle though.
So there is a quickie update on the rug rats. I'll try not to make it so long next time.

Intro
So, this will be my "happy" blog. This is where I can talk about the kids and what all they are doing, etc. So let me introduce you to them.
Michael is 13 and going into 8th grade. He is a smarty pants most of the time, but in a good natured way. Most parents would probably ground him but hey, I just get smart back. He knows his limits though. He does well in school, not as good as I would like, but he's getting better. He excels on the ball field. He plays catcher for a competitive team. They travel around, playing on the weekends. He adores his little brother and tolerates his little sister lol.
Bethanie is my academic child. She is 9 and going in the 4th grade. She gets perfect grades, and we are very proud of her. She is quiet and respectful. She loves her little brother and tolerates her big brother (most days). She is very girly girl and likes dresses and to dress up.
Brody is 16 months and a little turd. He runs everywhere and loves to eat and take baths. Oh and play outside. And push stuff. You know, he just loves everything!! He just learned to give kisses, so he gives them, but they are very sloppy. He will eat his dinner then come to me with his mouth open for more and he's still tiny. He does repeat everything and it's hilarious. One of his favorite toys is a cell phone. And yes, he knows how to use it.
As for me, I am your typical housewife I guess. You can read more about me and my thoughts in my other blog, but be warned, it's my outlet. I am bipolar and they are my thoughts. I live in Cabot, AR, which is just north of Little Rock, AR and one step away from hell (it's finally cooled off a little). It's been super hot out there recently.
So there I am. My kids are my life and I love them more than anything and this blog will be mostly about them.
